Leighton is becoming so much more alert when we wake her up now! She looks around making some of the funniest faces. Every time she tries to focus on something she goes cross-eyed. (Don't worry, the nurses say that's a good thing.) We could watch her make these faces all night.

Hey guys! I'm so glad you gave Chris your blog address. I've been wondering if you had one. Leighton is beautiful! I know the circumstances weren't exactly what you had planned, but Heavenly Father obviously just needed her to come sooner than expected! What a blessing it must be to have been sent such a sweet little miracle! Congratulations!! We're so glad everyone is doning good!
P.S. I love that you call her Leila Bo! I've been telling Chris for years that if we ever had a little girl, I wanted to name her Layla.
HOLY COW! She looks beautiful!!! I can't believe her gorgeous EYES! Just like her Mama. Did they move her feeding tube? Is she keeping it in? She looks so cute. How fun that she is getting so alert.
